Why I Built PlayGolf18
Like many golfers, I've spent years trying to improve.
New clubs.
Lessons.
Hours on the driving range.
Sometimes it worked. Most of the time, my scores stayed almost the same.
Then I realised something.
The problem wasn't that I lacked data.
The problem was that I didn't understand it.
Where am I really losing strokes?
What should I actually practice?
How do I stay focused when a round starts falling apart?
I couldn't find an app that answered those questions the way I wanted.
So I built it.
Not another GPS app.
Not another digital scorecard.
But a golf companion that helps me understand my game and improve over time.
Now I want to see if it really works.

At the end of the 2026 Challenge, four participants will be randomly selected from all qualified golfers.
They'll be invited to Austria for the PlayGolf18 Challenge Finale during the Agathos Charity Golf Trophy 2027 on 30 April 2027 Murhof Golf Club.

A memorable golf experience while supporting a charitable cause
Travel to and from Austria is not included.

How many rounds do I need?
At least five handicap rounds within your personal 90-day challenge.
Can I participate with the free version?
Yes. Everyone can join.
Premium plans unlock additional statistics, AI Training Plans and the Live AI Caddy.
Is the AI Caddy legal in tournaments?
The Live AI Caddy is designed to help you stay focused and support your mental game. It does not recommend clubs, playing strategy or how to attack a hole.
When is the last possible start?
Your personal 90-day challenge must finish no later than 31 December 2026.
